Research Interests
Our research is in the area of optoelectronic devices, semiconductor lasers, and telecommunication systems. Current research activities are investigation of: All-optical logic devices and encryption circuits operating at high data rate; Short pulse generation using fiber lasers; Supercontinuum generation using nonlinear effects in optical fibers and planar waveguides; and, Optical coherence tomography.
