Information about using Slido for keynote plenary talk on Saturday

The keynote speaker session will use Slido for questions to the speaker. Once you download the Slide app, you will be provided an entry code unique to the session that will allow you to type in your questions to the speaker.

General Information

  • We will provide a bus that will transport students from Gant South (Physics Department to the Hotel)
  • The Student Union is just across from Gant South where the physics Department is located
  • There is a convenient store at the Student Union.
  • A Local CVS pharmacy is downtown Storrs, walking distance from The Physics Department.
  • Urgent care clinics is downtown Storrs, walking distance from the Physics Department. But reach out to a Local Organizing committee Member who will drive you to urgent care if needed
  • There is a Bank of America k downtown Storrs and an ATM in the student union.
  • There is a coffee shop in the Union. Convenient store.
  • There will be a lactation room if needed. The location will be given to you by a local organizing committee member.
