Important Information to Apply to CU*iP

- Decisions Sent & Registration Open: November 12, 2024
- Registration Deadline: December 4, 2024 at 5:00pm ET
- CU*iP 2025: January 24-26, 2025
Step 1:You need to apply directly to the APS to attend a CU*iP conference between August 26 to October 23, 2024. APS will direct you to a nearby CU*iP site. The site will review your application and you are either accepted or declined.
Step 2: After you have been accepted, you will need to register and pay a $45 fee to confirm that you will actually be attending. Failure to pay the $45 fee will not allow you to go to a CU*iP site. Your home institution usually pays for the fee.
If your department is not covering the registration fee, and the $45 fee is causing financial hardship, you may request a fee waiver by contacting women@aps.org to request a registration fee waiver form. Please note, fee waiver requests must be made two days in advance of the registration deadline.
Speakers, Panelists and invited guests are given information directly from the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) members who invited them or from the LOC.
If you are a faculty member, chaperone or other non-undergraduate who wishes to attend the CU*iP at UConn you need to make your own travel arrangements. If you have questions, please fill the form Form for non-students and send it to uconn_cuwip@uconn.edu by January 1, 2025.
